St.Martin '00

Visited St.Martin for the food, diving and entertainment.  Food was fabulous, entertainment was superb (clubs, casinos...) but the diving was not a pleasent experience.  Encountered scores of fish nets with tangled turtles, sharks, schools of decaying fish.... not what one wants to see on a dive.

One thing I can say about St.Martin is that it is crowded!!  The roads have to be some of the hillest I have ever seen (makes San Francisco seem flat) - the French side has super roads where as the Dutch side needed some serious help.

Stayed with friends in a three bedroom villa - fabulous house overlooking the ocean, Saba/St.Bart in the distance, waves crashing within meters of our windows!! Beautiful place to sit back and watch the waves and sunsets....

Oyster Bay Marina - Beautiful Part of the Island

Dining in St.Martin - many unspoiled reefs with lots of sealife
